When compensability is established, the adjuster initiates benefits and coordinates with the medical team to identify the appropriate level of care and its timely delivery to the injured worker. If the claim is found to be non-compensable, the adjuster works with a variety of client-preferred attorney firms to insure that the employer’s rights are defended. Any subrogation potential is pursued by the handling adjuster, thus eliminating the unnecessary expenses of employing an outside interest.
