case managers to arrive at appropriate compensability decisions.

If compensability is established, the adjuster initiates benefits
and coordinates with the medical team to identify the appropriate
level of care and its timely delivery to the injured worker. Speed
and accuracy of care and communicating results promote a safe
and early return to work. If the claim is found to be non-compensable,
the adjuster works with a variety of client-preferred attorney
firms to ensure that the employer’s rights are defended.
Subrogation potential is pursued by the adjuster assigned to
the claim. Along with subrogation, pursuit of refunds from the
“excess” coverage is also handled to ensure timely
reporting and recovery of funds.
